This is a great place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Penny Kinsman, the innkeeper, has hiked and explored most of the park and offers first hand information on the best features, hikes and destinations in the park. We really appreciate Penny's extensive library of books, maps and nature guides that are available for guest use. The Muley Twist Inn is spotlessly clean and contemporary, the food is superb and the ambience and friendliness can't be beat. This was the second time we've stayed at the Muley Twist and we'll return again. The nearby Fish Creek pictographs and the drive up the Burr Trail Road switchbacks to the Upper Muley Twist Canyon trailhead were two highlights of our most recent visit to the Muley Twist Inn. Thank you, Penny, for mapping out travel directions to these very special remote locations. Very glad we took your advice and rented a Jeep at SLC Airport so we could access the backcountry.
